(More customer reviews)I bought this refrigerator in January and had it delivered to my home in February. I've had it for almost 4 months now and haven't had any issues. The appliance itself is beautiful, inside and out. It's very large, so make sure you measure and have the space for it before you order it. I feel like this appliance and the other matching ones I ordered gave my kitchen an instant facelift!
The temperature controls on the front are handy. I don't mess with them much, but there is an option for extra cooling in the fridge section for when you go grocery shopping and put your items inside. It cools them down faster than normal to reduce bacteria. The ice maker works well. Occasionally I have issues with the ice clumping together and I have to reach in and shake it all around, but I've had that issue with many other icemakers. I haven't had an issue with the shelving the way the other reviewer mentioned, but occasionally I have trouble getting my cheese drawer to pull out. It seems to stick somewhat, but isn't a big deal. That's the only issues I've had at all with this.
I made sure to purchase my appliances from Lowe's when they were running a rebate through GE. I also sued a 10% off coupon to help lower the price even more. I'd definitely recommend trying to get the best deal possible because the Profile series from GE does run quite a bit higher than most other brands. I think you get a prettier product, but not necessarily a better one. Hope this helps you make your decision.
