(More customer reviews)I would not recommend Haier kegerator, unless you like warm beer. I set it to it's coldest setting let it run for a day and the coldest it got was to 46 degrees Fahrenheit. As you know there's nothing better than warm beer. The really bad part of this is my wife ask me what I wanted for xmas, and I said I wanted a Danby kegerator it came highly recommended by a good friend. When she called "Beverage Factory" they said that Danby has a problem getting cold enough to get the beer to it's coldest optimal temperature. That they highly recommended Haier, but if you read between the lines what there really saying is that they get there most optimal profits selling haier. I also don't recommend the beverage factory. They never ask what kind of beer that you like to drink and that different beers have different types of couplers. So they just send off the standard American coupler. This doesn't work for Imported beers. Just bad all the way around, not to mention I probably lost a keg of Bass. The beer Gods are going to be very, very upset. "Don't buy from Beverage Factory" Try not to buy China Cr@p buy something thats made in the U.S. you can't go wrong. Good luck everybody and the next rounds on me!

Thin Man Pantry 4036 Review

(More customer reviews)Durable Furniture Pieces Thin Man Pantry Cabinet white 4036 (I would have given this a zero-star rating if it was possible) After finally getting one side together; matching dowels with holes (half that weren't as deep as they were supposed to be), the other side just wouldn't fit tightly or line up; I glued excessively, taping with a hammer, and it finally seemed that it would be ok - wrong. It worked for about 4 months - including holding up to heavy cans (on the bottom shelf) but then, one day, I gave it a pull by the handle to bring it out and it just started to wabble. I got what I needed then gently pushed it back in. Now I try not to have to pull it out at all - it leans like the Leaning Tower of Piza (is that right?) and I'm afraid to give it another pull; I just know everything will come crashing down - glass, plastic, powder and liquid (ugh). I'm now looking for a more sturdy unit, perhaps metal/wire, but am not having a whole lot of luck. Please, don't waste your money on this, you will be greatly disappointed and discouraged!

Koolatron Vending Fridge-Silver Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this about a year ago, it was very, very discounted. (How about $10. seriously!)
The unit has the ability to vend two different 12oz can products. It holds four cans for each product. It works almost like a real vending machine. The coin slot really works, it has a refrigeration unit, and it does dispense product.
It worked fine for eleven months. Unfortunately, the power board went bad. This makes the whole unit inoperable.
I contacted Koolatron, they offered to send a replacement board for $50.
Oh well, for $10 it was fun while it lasted.

Prodyne Acrylic Juice Jar Review

(More customer reviews)These carafes are like artwork in the refrigerator. The acrylic jar is sturdy and easy to handle even when full.
Washing has not been a problem as long as the contents aren't allowed to dry (meaning rinse it out as soon as it becomes empty).
The worst part about this product is the lid. The flip-top lid does not stay open unless it's pushed all the way back. Then, when pouring, the contents splashes because there's no vent hole in the lid. Lastly, the shape of the lip on the lid causes a small, but very noticeable amount of liquid to remain on the lid, which unfortunately turns into a gross and crusty mess very quickly. I would recommend keeping a towel or rag near-by to wipe off the lid after each use.
Update - 3 months after purchase
I purchased several of these carafes and in just 3 months one has been discarded because it cracked on the bottom and began to leak, while all the others have developed cracks in the neck. I would strongly recommend against purchasing this product for refrigerated liquids.
It seems to be more well suited as a serving container that will be used for an event and then emptied before being stored.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this conversion kit to turn my old garage beer fridge into a kegerator. The product was shipped promptly to me on the exact day they estimated and all the components to the kit were in the box with clear, concise instructions. The kegerator was easy to install and now it is dispensing fresh, draft beer for me and my buddies. I will say that the instructions call for your PSI to be set at 10-12 but we found through trial and error that it dispensed better with the PSI set at 5-6. When we had it at 10-12 it was coming out too fast and it was too foamy. I would recommend this product to anyone.

CorningWare French White 6-Piece Cooking and Baking Set Review

(More customer reviews)I've owned French White for years and years, and they were the first casserole dish I always reached for. We had a mishap, broke my 10+ year old large oval casserole and replaced it with a new full set.
What a disappointment!!! CorningWare has changed something in their process or raw materials. The new dishes have tiny little "pits" in them that allows water to penetrate underneath the glaze. It looks unsightly when serving. The heft and feel aren't the same. Neither is the quality. You can tell the new pieces, as the bottoms have a ridge molded into the base. The older pieces are completely flat.
Using the new large oval dish, my adult daughter removed a full dish on lasagna from the oven and set it on a room temperature (burners turned off)stove top to cool. The dish shattered into pieces, and we had to throw everything out. CorningWare sent a replacement at no charge. The new dish has the same defects as the one that shattered.
I've been shopping at thrift stores and have managed to find older pieces. So disappointing the manufacture has cheapened/changed what was once a fabulous can't-live-without product.

(More customer reviews)I have had my Sunpentown 20 for a week now and I like it. Most bottles I have fit except for one of the fatter reds that I have. The shelves slide out and the light is a nice touch. It emits a very low hum. It sits next to my computer and I really don't notice it unless the house is very quiet. The touch control is not overly sensitive and its max low end temp is 54. I plan to regularly clean the exhaust and intake vents since I suspect dirt in them killed my last wine fridge which was NOT a Sunpentown.

RiteLite LPL795XL Four LED Clip Light / Book Light / Mini Task Light Review

It turned out to be a very cool design; the head can be spread apart for a more diffused area of light, which is awesome for those who want to read and not have to adjust the light from one page to another. There was one problem though. The features says that the book light have 3 modes: the off mode, a dim light mode, and the brightest light mode. Suddenly, after testing it out THREE times, the book light lost either its dim or brightest light mode (even with new batteries). I say "either" because we did not get a chance to get use to how bright or dim it could be since we only tried it out, but I am leaning towards the lost of bright light mode because now it only turns on (quite dim) and off )=

Brita 42364 SpaceSaver Pitcher Review

(More customer reviews)This might be piling on, but we have an obligation to the community: this pitcher is junk. The lid will not stay on. Never mind trying to pour with it, just carrying it to the refrigerator without the lid falling off is a challenge. It should go without saying that Brita should be able to filter water. That's what the company does. The water is great. It will save us a bunch of money. It's the right thing to do for the environment. But come on, Brita. You're based in Oakland, CA. Get some of those smart people from Cal or Stanford to work on your design or QA or something. Manufacturing somewhere that you lost track of?

FCA2-05 FAILED CIRCUIT POWER ALARM Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this device to be warned if I lost power to my refrigerator and it works perfect. My refrigerator is plugged in to a GFI outlet that on more than one occasion has had the test button bumped in to resulting in no power to my refrigerator. This small device was "cheap insurance" in lieu of replacing an entire refrigerator worth of food.
It was very simple to set up...I dropped a battery in, plugged it in, and then plugged my refrigerator in the piggy-back style plug and all was ready to work. For my installation I used a little Velcro on the back and hid it on the side of fridge where nobody can see anyway.
One problem I did experience is that it immediately went in to "alarm mode" - even though the unit had power!
I quick look inside the revealed a disconnected terminal to the relay (not a big deal for me, but to someone less technical it would have meant a return to the manufacturer). I made the connection and it now works as expected. I guess I got "that one" made on a Friday at 4:59PM LOL!
However this mishap did afford me the opportunity to look closer at the internals of the product and from a technical standpoint it is very well constructed and above average in quality. Overall build is "commercial grade" (or close to it).
The alarm is quite loud and would be great for a second fridge or freezer tucked in the basement or garage etc.
I have tested it a few times and the unit continues to be ready to alert me should my refrigerator lose power again. A brief power outage also confirmed it remains ready to do it's job.
Overall - quite satisfied! 4 stars only because of the little connection issue. If you have something that should always have power and need to know when it doesn't this is the right product for the job.

GE Profile : PCR06WATSS 24 Wine Center with a 57 Bottle Capacity Review

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased this unit as a part of a full kitchen remodel. Unfortunately, upon attempting to transfer part of my wine collection I found the unit completely unsuitable. Because the unit attempts to fit 57 bottles into a relatively small space (note GE also sells a 29 bottle unit with a capacity of 4.3 cubic ft, compared to this unit's 5.5 cubic ft), the unit will not fit many 750 ml (standard capacity) wine bottles. Most Bordeaux style bottles (which have a pronounced shoulder below the neck and are basically cylindrical below the shoulder) will fit. However, many Burgundy style bottles (which taper gradually outward below the neck and are usually wider at the bottom) will not. The latter type of bottles bump up against the shelf above when the shelf they rest on is opened or closed. This kind of vibration is very bad for collectible wines, and a significant percentage of producers around the world (including the U.S.) use Burgundy style bottles.
In fairness, I have contacted GE about this problem and will edit this review if I receive a satisfactory response. Until then, I would highly recommend even wine novices steer clear of this product. There are multiple options in the $300-600 price range that have slightly less capacity but fit the vast, vast majority of 750 ml bottles.

FridgeBalls Easier than GreenBags- SET OF 3 Review

(More customer reviews)I have used these for over 2 years. I throw them in my refrigerator vegetable drawer and just replace them when I see stuff getting old sooner that I'm used to (every 4-6 months). They really do keep stuff fresher longer. My celery can last up to 4 weeks.
I used to pay 9.99 for them, but look at other sellers, you can get them cheaper.
