FLOJET BW1000A Bottled Water Pump System Review

We had the bottled water sitting on a cupboard with a manual pump and that was fine but was taking up too much space. We were able to move the bottle to a storage area and install tubing through our crawl space! It runs through about 30' of tubing with no problems - we had a little decrease in pressure but nothing too slow. Works great so far - hope it lasts forever.
From my first review on 5/14...now 8/24. Still working just as it did when we installed it. We run all our drinking water through this each weekend at our tiny cabin. This saves the space and gives us clean drinking water on tap. I wish the pressure was higher. I know if we moved the pump under the cabinet it would be better but the pump noise makes me want to keep it further away from our living space. It's not too bad if you don't have people sleeping right outside your kitchen, but we do. Filling coffee early in the a.m. wakes up sleeping babies, and we like them best when they are well rested! With creative cushioning you can tolerate this in the kitchen, but we need the under sink space for other stuff besides cushioning.

Bluewave BPA Free 5 Gallon Big-Mouth with Valve Reusable Water Bottle Review

This is just as described: sturdy, large, easy to use. I didn't want to turn my counter-top water filter on and off all the time. So I got this water dispenser so that I can filter a lot of water at a time and not worry about it for next 3-4 days. I'd very highly recommend it.
A few tips on using it:
1. Don't close the lid too tightly. If the lid is closed so tightly that it becomes air-tight, then the tap can't dispense water.
2. After receiving the product, make sure that the dispensing-tap is tightly screwed in. I had to turn it one whole turn. Unless that tap is very tightly in place, water may leak from the base/gasket joint.
3. This is the only complaint that I have here: although the tap dispenses water if you either "lift" or "press" the lever, it appears to be a better idea to use the "lift" mode and not the "press" mode. I used it by pressing for the first 3-4 weeks, but then water started dripping from the tap slowly. Once I switched to lifting the lever, it's doing fine ever since.
