(More customer reviews)We paid for and expected a high-end dual zone wine refrigerator. That's what we thought we had when I installed it. The appearance is indeed nice. However, there are two problems. 1) Spacing is tight between the drawers. Some common size wine bottles cause the drawers to hang up. And, the tops of the bottles on the lower rack get hooked on the lower drawer, so opening the lower drawer pulls them out onto the floor. 2) After giving the unit two weeks to stabilize, we found that the red wine and white wine zones can't reach their warmer and cooler settings unless the settings are only a few degrees apart. There is an opening between the compartments. Cold from the white wine section (they set it up so the cooler temp rack is on top) spills to the lower section making the reds way to cold (or the whites to warm, if you change adjustment ranges). With the red zone set to 65 and the white zone to 45, the actual stabilized temperatures indicated on the read outs are 53 and 48. That's not much better than having all the wines in one refrigerator.

Accommodating up to 45 bottles, this free-standing wine chiller features a front-venting design that allows it to be installed under a counter. The dual-zone appliance provides separate space for red and white wines, plus two digital controls for accurately controlling the temperature of each type of wine. Constructed for in-home use (not recommended for the garage or basement), the wine-cooling unit's energy-efficient thermal-glass door can be locked to secure inside contents, and its normal temperature fluctuation of 5 degrees F prevents excessive cycling. Other highlights include a digital display, an interior light, sliding wood shelves, and display racks on the very bottom. About the same size as a dishwasher, the attractive stainless-steel unit fits in almost any kitchen and coordinates nicely with other appliances. The wine chiller measures 23 by 24 by 34-1/2 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
