(More customer reviews)Replacement board working fine. Didn't follow instruction on sheet and frig. didn't cool. The board is slightly different from original. Twisted pr of wires had to be removed and replaced with new wires provided and plugged onto location of new board. Not a big deal,easy.

Simple to install, instructions (if needed) were very easy to follow. Had the same problem on 2 of my GE frige, bought 2 of these defrosters and fixed both.
Almost had a technician come out to look at my frige, he wanted to charge me 70 just for the visit. Fixed the issue myself for under 50.

(More customer reviews)Great deal: I fixed my refrigerator for $110.00. Just for additional peace of mind I used a plastic foam between this Control Board and the Refrigerator since the original board short circuited on the sheet metal refrigerator enclosure. The old board also did not have a grounding wire which the new board has. I guess there was a problem with short circuiting, so they improved the circuit board and added the ground wire.
Newer models come with the insulating plastic between the circuit board & the Sheet metal as well.
My Fridge works like new now.
