(More customer reviews)My husband put this together for me and it looked wonderful and held everything I needed it to hold. However, the wheels would not roll....so a trip to the local hardware store and viola it had new wheels and rolled as needed. This unite worked for about a year and then the other night we heard a large crash. Upon investigating we found it had come tumbling down and there were food products all over the place. Unfortunately on the top shelf I had a glass botttle of worchestershire sauce and another bottle of soy sauce plus several glass jars of pickles (sweet & dill) What a mess! Over the year we had the unit the pegs must have worked out and became loose as we pulled it out and in of the space besides the fridge. So beware and glue the shelves (pegs) in so that this does not happen to you. Otherwise it was a great idea and a big help storing our extras and making a space useable that had not been.

(More customer reviews)I love the space saving capability of this design, and the ease of access with the tins (just turn for shake or pour capability). HOWEVER - the tins are not air-tight, and the plastic cover on the tins is reactive to some spices. My cumin became encased in a plastiky mess, and the salt becomes a salt block within days. Also, due that the spices are stored on their sides, there's constantly a mess of spice-jumble on the counter under the spice tins. I still use the tins for spices that I use up really quickly - oregano, marjoram, etc.... - but have to keep a separate stock of anything that reacts with moisture and the plastic tops (trial and error). I would look into other storage options if you're not tight on space.

(More customer reviews)the turntable is very shiny, took less then three min to put together, and does it's job. it's tall enough on the bottom shelf to hold enough of my kitchen spices that the big fat and tall jars can go on the top. it's turning action is smooth. however a nice thing is that it dosn't turn really fast all the time, like some of the cheaper one's i've had. nothing is worse then a turn table that spins so fast you miss the item you want, or that turns all the time if you even bump it by accident. it is a very nice piece, matches my stainless blender my toaster and my osterizer and i have had friends pick them up because they liked it so much.

7 Piece Magnetic Spice Rack and Decanters Review

(More customer reviews)I had a set of nice (well made) spice containers already, and was looking to add to the collection without spending a lot of money. These worked, in that they look a lot like the ones I already have and were cheap. However, they are nowhere near the quality of the other ones I have. The magnet is not as strong; the seal is not very good (the metal lid rests right on the metal base without a seal ring); a couple of the lids were cracked (although this may have been caused by me running them through the dishwasher); and one of the bases was missing a hole to shake out the spice. They look good though!
