Finally, Amazon to the rescue! The Nature vs. Nurture debate continues to rage on. For the twelve Americans who still believe that people *can* and *do* choose to be gay, here's the perfect stocking stuffer. For one cent shy of eleven bucks, little Geoffrey can be sent skipping down the pink brick road of happiness and immaculate personal grooming.
The Grow Up To Be Gay Magnet Set (this is the Hairdresser selection) has been "Assembled by a team of disabled and non-disabled staff working together." I totally concur with the need to compartmentalize America's already marginalized groups. It makes sense that would-be consumers of toys which turn young boys gay would also be compassionate enough to appreciate the perils of our nation's disabled workforce. N'est-ce pas?
It sounds well made ("Extra thick to really stick") and you never know: If things go well, and if you purchase enough of these for your son--apparently the entire series includes future favorites such as the Male Nurse and the Airline Steward--you might be hearing the same phrase in rhythmic cadence from his bedroom in a few years.
Extra thick to really stick
Extra thick to really stick!
Extra thick to really stick!!!
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
As for CONS, I am docking one star for the abhorrent lack of celebrity endorsements. This bitch was practically crying out for one, two, three, or possibly all five of the Queer Eye guys to make a little coin.
Finally, and for some reason--probably due to a technical glitch--I am not seeing the "Frequently Bought Together" suggestion, perhaps pairing this with Does God Love Michael's Two Daddies (Seth and Sarah Ask...). Hopefully Amazon can get that cleared up.
