(More customer reviews)With all solar powered items, it is key to remember that the panels work best in full sun, when they are clean.
I'm using these to exhaust heat from my attic - I live in the desert, so the attic gets extremely hot in summer. I installed 4" ducting up to the peak (inside), and connected the fans right where the attic vents are. The panels are silicon'ed to the roof, and the power cords just feed in. In winter I can disconnect them to keep the heat in.
The key to remember is these are solar devices, they won't create the same impressive impacts as plugged-in counterparts. They do move enough air to feel it with fingers, they operate silently (except sometimes at low speed), and they will start running with ambient day light (though they run faster in direct sun).
