First there was no problem with Amazon or the purchase and delivery.
This is a complaint about the FSP water valve. In this case I have replace this valve on this refrigerator four times counting the original valve. If you can find another maker for a water/ice valve to fit your refrigerator do it. Basically the plastic body of the valve is weak, not made well and cracks. The result is water from the valve leaks on the kitchen floor all the way down to the basement until you shutoff the main water valve.
Potential damage to your house.

GE WR57X10032 Water Valve for Refrigerator Review

After researching causes for not getting water through the door I had ruled out the line being frozen. My tests showed that the relay on this valve was getting energized yet there was barely a trickle of water coming out so I assumed the valve needed replacing. A new valve did not solve the problem. The root cause was the fitting that holds the water filter. One of the tubes leading into the fitting was plugged, preventing filtered water from reaching the valve I had tested.

GE WR57X10033 Water Valve for Refrigerator Review

If you're planning on using this thing for anything other than making ice, you may be disappointed.
This valve can only be cycled "on" for six seconds before needing three minutes time off, otherwise it overheats and becomes useless.
GE abbreviates seconds as " (as in cartography) on their part, but spells out minutes. Both I and an electrician friend assumed that the " was just a typo and that it just needed three minutes downtime for every six minutes it was on. Not true. The part lasted about three minutes before dying.
So, if you have plans of a gravity-fed plant-watering system that just needs one 1/4" tube fitting solenoid to work properly, this is not your part. If you need something for your GE refrigerator's ice-maker, I'm sure you'll be as happy with this thing's performance.
