(More customer reviews)I bought this ice maker to replace the original GE unit. It was cheaper and I hoped it would perform as well. The construction of this new unit is much cheaper than the original using fragile plastic snap together pieces, the ice tray is shorter allowing fewer cubes to be made at once. In my two person household, this ice maker can't keep up. I wouldn't buy this product again.
