Now for the bad: Refrigerator section on lowest setting (7) will only cool to mid to high 40s. We have moved all items from the center to allow for free air flow and that helped a bit but still couldn't get it into the 30s (close but no banana). If you live in areas such as Greenland or Siberia and are looking for something to keep your food and brewskies from freezing this might work for you. If you're looking for a good frig you might want to avoid this one (or any LG).
Update 2/20/11: My wife pointed out (with receipt in hand) that this box is still under warranty (bought in May 2010). That's the good news. I contacted LG personnel and that went well and I wasn't forever on hold (more good news). The bad: Service Tech came out, confirmed the temp was in mid 40s but was unsuccessful in making the repair. Talked to him later and he said LG recommended replacing some ducts...This is not looking good. Also: Consumer reports rates this refrigerator at the bottom of their list (and surprisingly a different model LG that is up at the top). Hindsight, ya got'a love it.
