(More customer reviews)Possibly Frigidaire has remedied the issue by now, but ours would build up ice in the defrost drain tray and eventually require a manual defrost. The solution was cheap and simple, insulate the metal shield which covers the defrost drain area to allow the defrost heater to work properly. I used some foil bubble material expressly for this purpose, and affixed it to both sides of the shield. Unfortunately, Frigidaire tech support did not have a clue, and suggested to move the defrost drain "trap" closer to where it exits on the rear. This was NOT an effective fix! Otherwise a great heavy-duty appliance with no fancy computer-board driven controls to go bad. Also be aware this is designed for a commercial setting, i.e. not all that silent as the typical domestic home refrigerator or freezer. BTW, the Amazon description is incorrect, this is a freezer, not a refrigerator.
