(More customer reviews)The acrylic is very thin. It has a tray with handle that lifts out, and if you use that, you can only put a dozen eggs in it. I actually found an old utility bin I didn't know I had from an old fridge that I'm using for 2 dozen eggs instead. I'm using this one - without the lid and tray- to hold salad dressing bottles. At least it isn't really going to waste...

(More customer reviews)My housemate has chickens, so we almost never buy cartons of eggs at the store. I didn't like just keeping them in bags in the fridge, so I bought this egg dish. It's perfect! Fits in the door of my fridge, holds twelve eggs, cleans easily, looks nice.
