(More customer reviews)Lock & Lock keeps fresh fruits and vegetables fresher for longer than any other storage method I've tried. I've found they work best when the items are put in as dry as possible, so dry them thoroughly and dry off the condensed moisture that accumulates periodically. Strawberries keep for 2 to 3 weeks as fresh as on the day they were bought. Grapes and cherry tomatoes also keep well for 2 to 3 weeks. Lettuce also keeps much longer, as long as you can get it dried; if it isn't dry, it still turns mushy, but it takes longer than if it were just in a plastic bag. I also use Lock & Lock in the pantry for dried fruits and for crackers.
