16 Bottle Wine Refrigerator with Wood Shelves - EdgeStar Review

(More customer reviews)I'm posting this review because of my extreme dissatisfaction with this wine refrigeration product line. I received a similar 12-bottle unit as a gift 17 months ago and it broke down a month ago. The cost to repair it, $55 in parts and who knows how much in labor costs. The company that manufactures this product didn't even care. Not a single other appliance in my kitchen has had such a malfunction and everything in my kitchen is at least 4-5 years old. It's intolerable that an appliance company zero credence for product quality / customer satisfaction and that they tell me that my only option is to spend $55 in parts to repair a $100 product. Why on earth would anyone every buy another EdgeStar product again based on this experience?
We are also planning to warn all of our wine-loving friends in the wine classes we attend to not purchase the products as well. What a disappointing company.

I looked everywhere from Costco to Wine Stores trying to find a perfect wine cooler before a friend suggested Amazon. That's where I came across the NewAir AW320ED. This is a VERY nice unit! I previously purchased the Cuisinart before this one, but sent ended up returning it since it was so loud. I bought this one, and I couldn't be happier. It has a lot of great features that the Cuisinart did not and, in my opinion, looks nicer.
First, its very quiet compared to the Cuisinart. It has dual zones so I can store my growing collection of both red and white wines. I love that it doesn't make more noise as my refrigerator. It also has screw-in feet that can be used to level it. This was particularly helpful with the textured travertine floor in my kitchen. Although, it's not a big deal unless your floors are not quite level like mine.It has a nice LED light on the interior that is much brighter than the Cuisinart light. It cast a nice blue ray so I can easily find my wine for the night. I really like the touch screen controls as well. The temperature ranges are easily controlled with a touch of a button. It was also super easy to setup.
The unit even included a one year warranty, which help make my decision to purchase the unit. So far it has been about 5 months since I've had the cooler, and my wife and I are really pleased.
For about the same price as the Cuisinart, this is a much better unit. Buy it!

When researching magnet sheet products, I was discouraged because of the prices since I needed about 10 of these sheets! But this price is unbeatable, and I would recommend this product for any craft project or other use!

Bosch : B22CS80SNS 22 cu. ft. Linea Series Side by Side Refrigerator - Stainless Steel Review

(More customer reviews)Got our first Bosch, and it was great. Quiet and beautiful to look at. But a defect inside allowed the glass shelves to fall off their pegs, just as you put a gallon of milk on it. Bosch came out and condemned the unit. I was impressed. Out comes #2 refrig. Plugged it in and the compressor sounded awful. A metallic rubbing sound inside the compressor. Could hear it across the house. Ice maker did not work. Out came Bosch, who replaced the ice maker but said the compressor was fine. Well the compressor noise has gotten louder, and now the ice maker died again. Also the refrig has a door open alarm feature. Well, my kids left a fruit drawer out a little, which caused the door not to close all the way. I woke up the next morning to a refrigerator that was 50 degrees inside, and no alarm sounded. Out comes Bosch for the third time. He condemns the compressor, ice maker, and a computer board. I contact customer service and demand a new machine, as it is only 2 months old. "Sorry, our warranty says we fix it, so thats what you get" She also refuses to let me talk to anyone higher than her " I am as high as you can get" she says.
I purchased it from Fergusen Enterprises, a wholesaler to the construction market. Jeff at Fergusen in Downers Grove Illinois, stepped in and pressured Bosch to replace the unit. We are currently waiting for Unit #3 to arrive.

GE Cafe Series : CFCP1NIYSS 20.8 cu. ft. Counter-Depth French-Door Refrigerator Review

(More customer reviews)I bought GE Cafe refrigerator, dual-fuel stove, and dishwasher about 18 months ago. It is a smart looking set. Overall, I am pleased with the performance, especially when compared to the last set I bought (KItchenaid where I had no end of problems with e very single appliance). Yes, the fridge is not terribly deep, but this is actually a benefit for me as I have the tendency to over-buy products that get lost in the back of a larger fridge and then just rot. It also has nice deep door shelves and adjustable shelves in the main part of the fridge that help to make it just right for you. The only problem we have had with the fridge is that the left door handle fell off (!) but my husband was able to fix it pretty easily with an Allen wrench, so it may have been an installation problem. Other than that, I have had no issues and am happy with the purchase.
