(More customer reviews)I found the 1/2 inch diameter ones too strong (damaged their own finish very quickly) and the 1/8 inch ones too weak (3D structures were not very rigid). These 1/4 inch diameter ones are a good mix of the best attributes from the sizes above and below.
One other thing to keep in mind if you are buying these as a toy is that spheres are better at pushing your skin out of the way without pinching it. If you were to buy cubes this strong you would frequently end up with pinched skin.

Blomus 2cm Stainless Steel Magnets, Set of 6 Review

(More customer reviews)I got two packs of these (unfortunately) been using them for about two weeks on my blomus muro perforated board, the magnets themselves are nice enough looking i guess, the looks dont really stand out. these are stainless steel covers on top of a magnet, and an issue i been encountering so far is sometimes when you go to remove the magnet from the board, you end up pulling off the stainless steel cover right off the magnet. Also maybe because of the small size or weakness of the magnet, holding bigger items requires two of them (an envelope with a bill and check will slide down with just one magnet). I think i will try another type of blomus magnet, perhaps a bigger size one.

10 Neodymium Magnets 1/2 inch Cube N48 Review

(More customer reviews)These are the strongest magnets I have found of their type. They work very well to hold up heavy items on "magnetic painted" walls, which require a lot of power.
My only complaint is that they are very brittle and chip if allowed to snap together quickly. This is probably a feature of the material and not the vendor.
Also, keep them away from the little ones, they can hurt quite a bit if they pinch you and really should not be eaten.

I had to try these b/c they're so much cheaper than the ones I normally get. These magnets are strong and works well. My only complaint about them is that sometimes a little bit of the magnet piece will chip off, which doesn't look good when you're trying to give these as gifts. But, regardless, they are a great buy for the price.

(More customer reviews)They're so small and innocuous-looking in the package. But open 'em up, get 'em near an appliance and BAM! Those little suckers slammed onto the Frigidaire with such force that I was genuinely startled. They're so tiny that my husband has trouble prying them up with his big, meaty fingers. As magnets go, they come highly recommended. Obviously not for the wee ones who haven't yet learned not to stick inedible objects in their various orifices.

(More customer reviews)These magnets are awesome, they do break easily though, so be careful when separating. I used a knife. Once you separate them, group them in 5's or 6's and keep them in separate containers, because when they crash together unintentionally some may crack, and the more you have grouped together, the stronger the bond, the harder they crash into each other.

(More customer reviews)I'm the type of person who hates clutter but i can't ignore the practicality of sticking things on the refrigerator for my family of four. When I discovered these strong little magnets, all my ugly, large refrigerator magnets got tossed and now my fridge looks like a million bucks. You can't see the magnets unless you're looking for them and they are so STRONG. I can put heavier paper (school artwork, etc.) or stacks of coupons on with a single magnet.
I like the cubes because they are taller and thus easier to remove than the flatter models.

This magnet definately does the job. The magnet is white and our refrigerator is white so it blends in nicely. I highly recommend this product. Now I just wish I would have bought 2 instead of one. They make nice gifts to give with your calendar.

Magnutz 6 Magnet Multi-Color Set Review

(More customer reviews)No doubt that the magnet part is great - super strong with lots of holding power. However, in the two sets that I bought, most (10 of the 12 total) have fallen apart in that the magnet slips out of the plastic holder. This most commonly happens when taking something down, you pull the plastic piece and the magnet stays behind. On close inspection, I notice small cracks radiating from the recession that holds the magnet. It appears that "Magnutz" expects the items to hold together with a friction-fit; probably an OK assumption as long as the plastic cover is not cracked. If you are willing to epoxy the magnets back in, they are great, and hold together perfectly. Having said all this, I would buy these again, knowing that I would probably have to re-seat all the magnets.

So far, none have come apart (in contrast to the colored plastic version, see my other review on that item). My only complaint is that most (5 out of the 6 in the pack) have magnets that are not fully recessed and are also tilted, resulting in the handle being noticeably off-perpendicular.

Super Strong Mini Black and White Magnet 36-Piece Set Review

(More customer reviews)Maybe it's becuase they are so small, but they don't really seem that "super strong". The plastic which makes up most of the dot is about 3/8" wide, but the magnet itself is tiny; only about 1/8". They don't hold photos on the fridge any better than any other magnets we have. And once they get knocked off - as they inevitably will - they're nearly impossible to find because they're so small. Like I said: They're just OK.
