Our little fridge served us well, keeping beverages cold & ice cream frozen, during its time being used in college dorms. It then spent over a year in attic storage, while nobody needed it.
Within the last month, our mini-fridge came to the rescue when our big fridge died unexpectedly after just three years of use. Thanks to the durability of this little fridge, our household of four is still able to enjoy the luxury of storing perishable goods!
I would highly recommend this fridge to anyone seeking a compact, energy efficient refrigerator, whether they need it for a dorm room, a single-person household, or in addition to a larger fridge. With proper care (and even with a little abuse now & again), this fridge should survive college years and more.
I would note that on lower (warmer) fridge settings, such as 3 or 4, items in the freezer do tend to melt a bit on top. I've found that the 5 setting seems to be best for keeping such items frozen without freezing everything else. The 7 setting is great if you want to freeze pretty much the whole fridge (though I would not recommend that for long-term meat storage without a thermometer to check the actual temperature).
