I've used mine now for over 6 months, & it has given me Great Service. I've had other smaller Mini Rrfrigerators in the past, this is the Best One so far. Positives: No Pop Can Chute; Salad Crisper Drawer, & Cubic Feet/Size. Negatives: Some Fresh Vegetables left in the Crisper Drawer can collect Moisture after 2 Days leading to Spoilage; No Door Shelf wide enough to store a Gallon Milk or Juice. I recommend this Great Refrigerator/Freezer.

Every year or two you'll need to defrost the freezer, which is a pain. But that's not too bad considering the life of the product. The built-in can dispenser in the door is great and partially why I picked this model.

(More customer reviews)I'd read some reviews on other sites for this model about how lots of people had to adjust the temp because their drinks were too cold (or even freezing). Since that's how cold I want my fridge to be able to cool, I bought one. The other reviews were right! The unit is advertised to keep a temp that's 40 degrees cooler than the surrounding temp. I can testify it does that and more. I have this in in an office environment at work, which is always near 70 degrees. The first time I got this fridge running it cooled down to the high 20's - my drinks were partially frozen and undrinkable. That means this fridge is capable of cooling to a little more than 40 degrees than it's surrounding temp. Perfect! I merely adjusted the temp a little so now it hovers around the low 30's. That means I can depend on my drinks being ice-cold. The knob for adjusting the temp is in the back, so it's a little hard to reach. But fortunately it's near the top, so you don't need to pull out the fridge to reach it. You just have to crouch down all the way and reach over the top.
I work in southern California where it's now in the 90's outside, so it's aweseome when I'm hot and sweaty to be able to open up my fridge and pull out an ice-cold drink. I'm actually going to buy another one for home!
The only problem I had is the first one arrived defective - didn't cool at all. The vendor arranged a UPS pick-up (fortunately I'd kept the packaging - it was dead out of the box) and within a few short days the replacement unit arrived. It's worked perfectly since.

As a bonus, I actually want to keep food in this thing, I've never eaten so healthy and cheaply.

(More customer reviews)This is the fridge from hell. I own this fridge and while it COULD be a great appliance it leaks glue from every plug and opening on the doors and unit. I am constantly having to scrape up puddles of caulking or glue from the floor and off of the doors. I've taped the holes, requested new plugs etc. from Frigidaire and have NEVER received a response from them via mail, email, or phone in response to my requests for new plugs or help in curbing the leaking caulk/glue issue. I purchased it from Lowes and Lowes hasn't been any help either since I didn't buy a warranty - assuming that Frigidaire was a "good" brand. Not.
It's noisy as well - louder than a full-size refrigerator. The plastic shell will not stand up to dorm room, kids or heavy use. I have it in my office and after less than a year it's looking brittle.
I think the leaks from both sides of the bottom of the freezer door, and the fridge door could be a health hazard if they got into your food. As it is the caulk just sticks to everything making the handles, the floor, the sides - everything sticky. It gets on your hands, your clothes, your shoes. You'll spend more time cleaning the glue up than you will stocking and using the appliance. There were plugs MISSING when I got the unit - something I noticed the first time I opened the door and found glue all over everything. I called the company to ask them to send plugs and they never responded. I couldn't find the plugs online either. I put heavy duty packing tape over the holes - which didn't work - the glue oozes out the sides like some sort of putty colored, B-grade movie alien invader.
The freezer works great - so great it freezes any food on the inside refrigerator shelves even on the highest cool setting. If you don't get great air circulation food will spot freeze on any shelf. Food on the door - such as milk or perishables, goes bad fast. Better to put it in leak proof containers and lay it on its side on a shelf where all the really cold air is. Of course the problem might be all the insulation is leaking onto the floor....I'm waiting for it to disintegrate one day once the putty/glue/insulation has leaked out.
Spend your money on a full-size or other brand. I would NEVER EVER recommend this appliance to anyone and would tell consumers to steer clear of the Frigidaire brand entirely. I just cleaned up another puddle of refrigerator poop and have decided to VIDEO TAPE the oozy mess next time and post it here...and on YouTube and anywhere else I can think of so I can help save the world from incontinent refrigerators. Unless you like changing diapers, scraping glue and having your fingers stick together every time you open a fridge door - steer clear - steer VERY clear of this appliance!!!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this refrigerator for my office. It is to be shared by a group of 5 people, so I wanted one that was a little bigger than the typical compacts. I paid for overnight deliverly as others had suggested. The unit arrived in a box that had been previously opened. I was a bit worried when I removed the item from the box. It had some large dents on the side, but was otherwise ok. Once I plugged it in, I realized there were bigger issues. The motor was very loud and was cycling constantly. It would run for seven minutes and then would be off for four minutes, then on for seven, off for four - yes I actually timed it. Everytime the unit came on it startled me. At first I thought that once the motor broke in, that it would become quiet. That did not happen. After having the unit for 24 hours and spilling a cup of coffee on my desk from my rattled nerves, I called Amazon for a replacement unit.
The new refrigerator arrived the next day. Once again, it arrived in a box that had previously been opened. The replacement had a large dent on the door, but otherwise works great. It is so quiet. I barely notice it when the motor is running. What a difference! I actually check it on occasion to make sure that it is working because I don't notice it at all. I switched doors with the first refrigerator and now I have a unit that has no significant dents and it doesn't interrupt my work environment. The actual refrigerator is nice looking and has a lot of interior space. After the experience with the first one, I am a bit concerned about the reliability, but for now, I am satisfied.

(More customer reviews)good little refrigerator holds a couple of lunches. don't rely on it for ice making the freezer door doesn't close and the condensation from the freezer leaks water on to a driptray that fills quickly.
It's also a little hard to move given the size and weight there are no handles and the coolant pipe on the back of the fridge stick out quite a bit be careful it could be broken easily.

It's small. It's efficient.
The freezer isn't great, it sort of works, but I wouldn't depend on it for anything long term (I kept some hot pockets in there...).
The hose to the freezer gets in the way a bit in the back.
I use it for drinks now that I'm not at the dorm anymore. It can hold about 50 cans, if anyone cares.
Nothing really *wrong* with it. It's just not full of features or have an awesomely-planned out design.

(More customer reviews)This seems to be an attractive and useful fridge, but it arrived in the worst possible packing imaginable for something like this: there was *no* space between the box and the fridge inside, and no packing materials to cushion against shipping damage. In other words, any blows to the box are blows to the fridge. As you can imagine shipping something of this size, some rough handling is guaranteed.
Ours arrived with two really huge dents. Luckily the dents do not impact operation so we probably won't mess with the hassle of a return. But be aware that getting a unit shipped to you in perfect condition seems really unlikely with this brain-dead packing.

So when the room is heated, as it is all winter long, the unit does nothing and my food spoiled. Now the unit smells bad in addition to not keeping my food cold. I am trying to think of what I could possibly use this thing for, and really, nothing comes to mind. Save you money and do not buy this!!!

(More customer reviews)For the most part, this refridgerator has done a good job keeping the drinks cold, and the size is reasonable: small on the outside, big on the inside, perfect for the dorm room. The interior is sound and the temperature is very cold, even on the minimum setting.
So why did it lose three stars? Because of one minor flaw, and one serious problem. The minor flaw is that while the fridge keeps the things inside cold, the top and sides get uncomfortably warm. Not enough to set anything on fire, but definitely not the thing you want to put your bare hand on for long. Good if you want to keep lunch warm though.
As for the serious problem-- the pipe in the back gets really, really cold. After running this for three weeks, my mother noticed that the fridge was leaking water. Upon further inspection, I noticed that it wasn't a leak...it was water dripping from MELTING ICE THAT HAD FORMED around one of the pipes in the back of the fridge, just outside of the insulation that had wrapped around the pipe. The chunk was about an inch and a half in diameter, and looked like a chunk of white foam wrapped around the pipe.
It took me 15 minutes to ease the ice off, then as I was inspecting the pipe under the insulating cover, another chunk of ice popped out. All told, it took about 20 minutes to get the mess handled, but I'm glad my mother noticed the water dripping when she did, otherwise, I fear that the fridge might have short circuited and cost us $100 in the process.
EDIT: In regards to the ice--the refridgerator's parts seem to be watertight, so you don't have to worry about the ice harming it. I do recommend that, should you buy this fridge, to either put some foam/insulation around the pipe to reinforce the one already present, or, more simply, just putting a tray under the ice to catch the drips.
