(More customer reviews)After checking out microwaves on Amazon, I decided to buy this same microwave from Walmart for $59.00. I made sure that it was the same model number, size, and brand before I posted this review because I believe in being concise and exact with my reviews . It worked fine for the first few months and now it overheats and shuts down after heating anything more
than 2 min. I cannot even finish cooking a bag of popcorn in it. The sides and back are free and clear of clutter or anything else that would stop the airflow to the motor so I sure that is not the reason for the overheating. The back and sides get extremely hot before it shuts down! If I wait about 2 hours, I can start it up again but it never fails to die after a 2 minute cooking.
I purchased this because the design of stainless steel and black went well with my other appliances. Boy am I sorry!
Do yourself a favor and don't buy this model.
I rated it a 1 because it looks stylish and worked well for a short time before it died.

Jokari's Soda Dispenser brought back old memories and, except for the fact that you have to make a little space in the bottle in the beginning (by pouring your first half-a-glass the regular way)....IT WORKS !
I am buying more. I love to give useful gift gadgets.

(More customer reviews)This little jewel has been a blessing to a small family that enjoys ice cubes in all of our drinks, especially water. The unforseen disadvantage is that you must manually fill the unit with water every couple of days. The advantage, however, is that if you use filtered or bottle water the ice cubes are tasteless. In fact, as the ice cubes melt in water, they remain pure and tasteless because they do not share the air of refrigerator the way an automatic ice maker that is built in does. So the ice melts, but you can just add more cubes without tasting all the flavors within your refrigerator.
Sits on the counter top and purrs away making plenty of ice for a family of four.
Terrific product.

(More customer reviews)I purchased my original Private Reserve Wine Cellar, Model CWC-1200, in November, 2007 through Amazon.com.
I was having persistent condensation problems with the unit, so I returned it under warranty and received a new unit just a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, I am having the same problem with the new unit. The plastic tray at the bottom of the unit fills up with water within a couple of days. I have the unit in an air conditioned room. I can't believe I am the only person having this problem, although Cuisinart would have me believe that.

Frigidaire Gallery Series : FGHD2433KF Fully Integrated Dishwasher - Stainless Steel Review

(More customer reviews)This is the worst consumer product I have ever bought. Worse than any bad dell laptop or any other appliance. The sad thing is, that it does a great job washing dishes and is pretty quiet while doing it. Frigidaire seems to think that their solution to a ventless design is to let steam escape during drying from out the sides and top of the door. Within 6 months, my cabinets and doors were ruined by the constant steam. The finish peeled and cracked. was covered under warranty by maker of cabinets but clearly wasn't their fault. Then a few months later, the thing started blinking and would only sporadically respond to button presses and would only do random things not necessarily what I pressed. Service came out and replaced buttons and circuit board (under warranty). That circuit board started to cause my dishwasher to randomly make crazy noises at random times of day regardless of whether or not the dishwasher was actually run that day. Came out again and said they could not duplicate the problem, I asked them to stay until it did it again, and of course it started doing it again at 2am so they had left. Well, now I can get a new circuit board because it died again. lights blinking, then nothing. oh wait, nothing but then 5 minutes later burning smell and smoke. unplugged unit, thankfully I was home and prevented a bigger fire or explosion. Now it is past warranty and repair is $200 for the same crappy circuit board. if you ever get a chance to look at the circuit board, it resembles the technology of your old atari 2600 but actually costs more, does less and is extremely prone to failure. Over the years, frigidaire has made small changes to the design from an aesthetic point, but not from a functional point, the newer 2010 model still has the same lousy design. do a search on frigidaire circuit board failiure or frigidaire fire or frigidaire cabinet steam and see the many complaints. some have even gone so far as to make their own site dedicated to the problems with dishwasher. i am hoping to get a few more months out of this piece of garbage and find something else on sale. a complete waste of hundreds of dollars. so 1 year, 2 replaced circuit boards, should have been 3, replaced cabinet doors and have had a total of 3 weeks of no dishwasher.

(More customer reviews)Like others, I was pleased with the cooler until it stopped working properly. No matter what temperature I set, it stays at 64 degrees. Sure it was rather inexpensive but if you average cost per bottle stored --- it is actually rather pricey. Very disappointing!

(More customer reviews)When this unit was working it worked well. The problem is that it failed in less than one year of use. The top zone now fails to control the temp. We have it set to 60 but the actual temp is 45. We bought the unit via Compact Appliances seller. We opted for a 2 year extended service plan but the problem is that there are no EdgeStar service centers in South West Florida. Compact Appliances failed to tell us that. Our recommendation is to stay away from this model from EdgeStar or avoid EdgeStar completely. The Repair Master Service Plan is useless because they can't find a service provider that will fix the unit.

(More customer reviews)I am writing this review because of my extreme dissatisfaction with the Edgestar wine refrigeration product line and Compact Appliances. Two years ago my husband purchased the Edgestar 28-bottle fridge for me as a Christmas gift. We were so excited with the product that we raved to everyone about it. The following Christmas it was all my parents wanted. We purchased the smaller 16-bottle Edgestar for them. Not two weeks later ours died (right after the one-year warranty). My husband is quite handy and called to purchase various parts to repair the unit--over $100 worth--to no avail. We were devastated to throw away a brand new unit just one year after our purchase. I spoke with my parents last night and found to their utter disappointment now theirs has died too--just one year after we purchased it for them. This is TWO units that died immediately after a one-year period! These products are not inexpensive and were a costly investment to preserve our favorite wines. We are disappointed in the quality of the items and have vowed to never purchase again from Compact Appliances. We are also planning to warn all of our wine-loving friends in the wine classes we attend to not purchase the products as well. What a disappointing Christmas!

EdgeStar 118 Can Beverage Refrigerator - Stainless Steel Review

(More customer reviews)Had the 118 can refrig for 1 month. Couldn't handle the whistle from the compressor. Had to pay to send it back. They said they didn't hear a thing. It was returned damaged. Cost me $110 extra for all this and now I have to get rid of it. I have to turn it off in order to speak with my guests. I turn it off when I'm in the room. When I talked with the service people on the phone, they said if they exchanged it I would probably still have the same problem... Don't buy any edgestars

Haier 1.7 Cubic Feet Nucool Refrigerator Review

(More customer reviews)This product must be a hoax. I got one as a birthday present to keep food cool in my office. It doesn't actually cool the food -- it just blows in the air from the room. So when the room is heated, as it is all winter long, the unit does nothing and my food spoiled. Now the unit smells bad in addition to not keeping my food cold. I am trying to think of what I could possibly use this thing for, and really, nothing comes to mind. Save you money and do not buy this!!!
