Frigidaire FRIGIDAIRE 131553900 Heating Element Assembly Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My heat in my dryer just stopped working, so I went online and found this heater at one of the cheaper prices. I ordered it and it arrived quicker than what was originally set. I installed it with the help of a friend and it worked. It's definitely a two person job.

Frigidaire Gallery Series : FGHD2433KF Fully Integrated Dishwasher - Stainless Steel Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is the worst consumer product I have ever bought. Worse than any bad dell laptop or any other appliance. The sad thing is, that it does a great job washing dishes and is pretty quiet while doing it. Frigidaire seems to think that their solution to a ventless design is to let steam escape during drying from out the sides and top of the door. Within 6 months, my cabinets and doors were ruined by the constant steam. The finish peeled and cracked. was covered under warranty by maker of cabinets but clearly wasn't their fault. Then a few months later, the thing started blinking and would only sporadically respond to button presses and would only do random things not necessarily what I pressed. Service came out and replaced buttons and circuit board (under warranty). That circuit board started to cause my dishwasher to randomly make crazy noises at random times of day regardless of whether or not the dishwasher was actually run that day. Came out again and said they could not duplicate the problem, I asked them to stay until it did it again, and of course it started doing it again at 2am so they had left. Well, now I can get a new circuit board because it died again. lights blinking, then nothing. oh wait, nothing but then 5 minutes later burning smell and smoke. unplugged unit, thankfully I was home and prevented a bigger fire or explosion. Now it is past warranty and repair is $200 for the same crappy circuit board. if you ever get a chance to look at the circuit board, it resembles the technology of your old atari 2600 but actually costs more, does less and is extremely prone to failure. Over the years, frigidaire has made small changes to the design from an aesthetic point, but not from a functional point, the newer 2010 model still has the same lousy design. do a search on frigidaire circuit board failiure or frigidaire fire or frigidaire cabinet steam and see the many complaints. some have even gone so far as to make their own site dedicated to the problems with dishwasher. i am hoping to get a few more months out of this piece of garbage and find something else on sale. a complete waste of hundreds of dollars. so 1 year, 2 replaced circuit boards, should have been 3, replaced cabinet doors and have had a total of 3 weeks of no dishwasher.

(More customer reviews)worked great, lasted ~6 months ( I started tasting bad water again in about 5 months but I figured I'd wait until the indicator light on my fridge came on), water tastes much better with a fresh filter.

SquareTrade 4-Year Appliances Warranty ($175-200 Items) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have used Squaretrade for several years. I have several electronics and appliances insured through them. So far, I have only needed to file a claim once, for an antiquated GPS device.
Just like their contract states, I filed the claim and received a pre-paid UPS label. I printed it out, packed the GPS and shipped it off (to Texas, I think).
They have the option of either repairing (and/or replacing, I forget) the device or refunding you your full (not pro-rated) purchase amount.
Since this GPS thingy was rare and unique, I received a Paypal credit to the tune of $90...what I paid a few years ago.
They constantly run coupons. Mostly 30%. One time I received a 50% coupon. I highly recommend them.
No servicemen at your door. No taking your product anywhere (aside from the UPS store). Just prompt, fast, legit service.

Frigidaire : 154477201 Sidemount Kit for Mounting Under Solid Surface Countertops Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This item looks like it would work great... that is, if it had been installed prior to the installation of our very solid granite countertops. Since I suspect a lot of people might want to install these after their counter has already been installed, I fault the seller for not clarifying that this is not possible. Hence the three stars for a product that would probably work great otherwise.

Frigidaire : FRT15B3JQ Refrigerator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The Frigidaire top-freezer refrigerator I have makes a loud whistling sound whenever it is running, which is most of the time. Frigidaire was of no help in correcting the problem: Their attitude is basically to explain why "modern" refrigerators make so much noise.

Frigidaire FGHB2844LF Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The fridge is very nice. It looks excellent. It is a bit bigger than the stated dimensions - we had a very hard time fitting it in a standard 36" opening. The water dispenses very quickly and tastes great. The ice cubes are small, which I like a lot (easier to put in water bottles). On the negative - the cold cuts drawer (the thin large one) is not great. You have to open both doors in order to open it, and even then it does not pull out all the way. The sides of the fridge are gray (not stainless steal) and they do not look good at all, but show a lot, because the fridge is large.

Frigidaire FGHS2655KP Gallery FGHS2655KP Side-by-Side Refrigerator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)While shopping around for a new refrigerator to replace the non-workinbg one left by the previous homeowner, I saw this Frigidaire FGHS2655KP at Brandsmart. I was attracted by the fine look (ultra smooth finishing) of the doors. Then when I opened the doors to get a look at the inside, I was delighted by it the beautiful lighting, the CLEAR and SPACIOUS DOOR BINS (including 2 one-gallon and 2 Two-liter bins), the CLEAR sliding SHELVES, the CLEAR meat DRAWERS with humidity control levels.
In addition, the water/ice filter and the air filters are both located inside and are easily accessible for replacement. There is a light outside the door that will switch from green to yellow to red to warn you when to change the filter.
There, I know that was what i was looking for, but after leaving Brandsmart, I went home and made sure to check online for reviews about this model (FGHS2655KP). To my surprise, there was none. So, for a few days i was a little bit reluctant as whether or not to buy this specific model refrigerator or to choose something else.
At the end, I decided to give it a try, knowing that I can always return it. So, I bought this refrigerator and I am complelety satisfied because months after I purchased it, ain't anything negative I can say about it. It runs silently, make ice quickly, and you can read the freezer and the fridge temperature on the door.
If you are looking for a refrigerator with lot of spaces, large drawers, shelves, and door bins, this is exactly what you should get.

Crucial Fridge Replacement Water Filter, Fits Frigidaire RG100, RC200, WFCB, WF1CB Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am so-so with this filter. The problem I have with it is the slight rotten egg/sulfer smell that it leaves in your water. If it wasn't for the slightly bad smell, I would have given it a higher rating.

Frigidaire PureSource WFCB Water Filter Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We did not receive the product advertised.
The advertisement states you will receive a "Frigidaire PureSourcePlus Ice & Water Filter (WFCB, 46-9906)". The product did not come in a Frigidaire PureSourcePlus package...just plastic wrap. I installed the filter and the water came out jet black. I ordered two of them so I tried the second filter, and the water was jet black again. This has never happened with Frigidaire filter.
I checked the invoice and it said they are Frigidair WFCB/RC-200 "Compatible" Replacement Regrigeragor Water Filters. If the company is selling a "compatible" filter, and not the manufacturer's filter why does the Amazon site describes and has a picture of the Frigidaire filter?
I e-mailed the company and they replied "Thank you for your order and email. From your description your new filters need to be flushed."
I ended up spending a lot more money and bought a Frigidaire filter but the water now does not taste the same.
This has been my worst online purchase experiences with Amazon.
In addition, while we did not request a refund the company subsequently wrote back and stated that they would credit our account since we were not happy with the purchase. While the company's customer service department was prompt and responsive, the Amazon website description should reflect the item being purchased in order to avoid confusion.

Frigidaire Professional FPHI1887KR 18.2 cu. ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator with SpillSafe Sliding Glass Shelves, 2 Humidity Control Crispers, Ice Maker, Wine Rack/Can Dispenser and Pro-Select Controls: Left Hinge Door Swing Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)While it was working, unit made lots of strange noises (the manual claims these are normal). Stainless finish scratches easily and is fairly difficult to clean. Wine bottle holder is a neat idea if a little flimsy. Otherwise, good use of space in main section.
Most importantly, the freezer no longer reaches proper temperature. Repairmen declared its compressor dead and thus cheaper to replace the whole thing than to repair. I figured "frigidaire" could handle making a fridge last longer that a year and a half, so I didn't get the extended warranty. Big mistake, but at least this way I have an excuse to get a better brand.

Whynter FM-65G 65-Quart Portable Refrigerator/Freezer, Platinum Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This refrigerator was purchased via Amazon Prime for use on a boat. This is a heavy item that I received overnight for $3.99 shipping--absolutely amazing service from Amazon. I was horrified to find that it did not work right off the bat but I received a same-day response from the manufacturer and they walked me through a procedure that got it up and running. Apparently, one of the electrical connectors sometimes detaches in shipping but can be easily reattached with some guidance. The refrigerator has worked perfectly since then (three months continuous use). Overall, this has performed as needed and I have been really pleased with the service from both the manufacturer and Amazon.

Frigidaire FFC0522DW 5-Cubic-Foot Manual-Defrost Chest Freezer, White Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Frigidaire FFC0522DW 5-Cubic-Foot Manual-Defrost Chest Freezer, White
Beautifully quiet operation, thank goodness cause we had no room in our tiny kitchen so we had to put it in a corner of the dining room. We live in an apartment and the landlord doesn't allow for us to buy our own refrigerator, but we needed the extra freezer space for meat, ice and vegetables. This is perfect, quiet and not bad looking. Its easy to move so that we can clean the floors. Great product, I'd recommend it.

Frigidaire : IM115 Ice Maker Kit Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have a Frigidaire frig that didn't come with and ice maker. I really didn't need one for awhile because I needed the extra freezer space. I just bought an up right freeze and realized I could now get an ice maker. I found this one and decided to buy it since it wasn't that expensive(I was thinking they would cost a lot more). It took me about 20-25 minutes to install it. It took me a little long because I couldn't find the wire for the solenoid. The wire on my frig was cable tied to the back of the frig's coils. Got it all hooked up and its making ice. Now I don't have to make sure I always have cold drinks in the frig.
